Gerry Straub, Founder and President of The San Damiano Foundation, spent much of his career as a network television
producer at all three networks, a career he gave up to dedicate his life to the service of the poor.
He has used his talents to produce several critically acclaimed books and films that highlight the plight
of the poor. Articles on The San Damiano Foundation have appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, U.S. Catholic, National Catholic Reporter and Sojourners
magazine, and news stories have been on PBS, KNBC, and KCET.
